Stoke midfielder Dean Whitehead believes his side deserved their 3-1 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round.
Whitehead scored the decisive third goal - which was his first for the club - and believes Stoke's constant pressure when Arsenal had possession paid off.
Whitehead said: "It was a good day for us. We played well from the start and pressed hard.
"We managed to get in their faces and we got the rewards from it."
The former Sunderland midfielder also expressed his delight at finally getting off the mark for The Potters.
"It was great to finally score my first goal at such an important time," he continued.
"I have had my chances over the past few months but I can relax now after getting off the mark."
After beating Arsenal - who currently lie second in the Premier League - Whitehead thinks his side have a very good chance of progress further in the FA Cup.
"We have beaten arguably the best side in the Premier League so we don't fear anyone now," he added.
"I think we have a good chance of going further in the competition."
