Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Aaron Ramsey's "presence and personality" after the midfielder shone in Arsenal's 1-0 Champions League defeat against Olympiakos.
The Gunners boss refused to draw comparisons between Ramsey and club captain Cesc Fabregas, but acknowledged the Welsh international's ability in the final third of the pitch.
He said: "Ramsey has a good presence, a good personality; he improves technically from game to game."
Wenger also insisted that his side, which had an average age of 21, didn't deserve to lose - claiming the result was down to "a lack of experience, not quality".
Ramsey, one of six British players in the Arsenal line-up, was pleased to pick up some more Champions League experience, as he looks to become a first-choice player in the side.
"All you can get out of situations like this are positives," he added.
