Arsene Wenger was left frustrated after his team let in a last-minute equaliser against AZ Alkmaar in the Champions League.
Cesc Fabregas put Arsenal ahead in the first half, but Wenger's side failed to capitalise on their domination in the second half and were made to pay by Ronald Koeman's side when David Mendes da Silva scored in the third minute of added time.
Speaking after the game, Wenger said: "We are frustrated because we felt superior to this team.
"We had a good performance but we couldn't take our chances and got caught in the final minute.
"In the Champions League you need focus for 93 minutes - we made one mistake and paid for it."
Gunners defender Thomas Vermaelen said the result felt like a defeat, despite Arsenal moving a point clear at the top of the Champions League Group H table.
"We were in control, there were no big chances for AZ but in the last minute they scored. It feels like a defeat," the Dutchman said.
"But when you are 1-0 in front you are not comfortable - it's always risky."
