Worcester mounted a sensational fightback to beat relegation rivals Newcastle 23-21 in the Guinness Premiership at Sixways.
The Falcons looked to be cruising to victory after leading 21-6 at the break with three tries before the Warriors scored 17 unanswered points.
Newcastle made three changes to the starting line-up with Matthew Burke, James Hoyle, and Brent Wilson starting.
Matt Powell continued to skipper the Warriors in place of the injured Pat Sanderson.
Flanker Ben Woods scored two tries for the visitors while hooker Matty Thompson also crossed the line.
Loki Crichton kicked all three conversions to cap off a devastating first-half display by the Falcons.
But rock-bottom Worcester sealed victory after scoring three tries with a brace from Aleki Luiti, with Gavin Quinnell touching down in the closing stages.
Aussie fly-half Shane Drahm proved to be the difference with two penalties and a conversion to give the hosts only their fifth win of the season.
The result sees Newcastle remain in tenth place as they fail to build on last week's victory over Saracens.
Worcester's vital victory sees them move off the bottom of the table to swap places with fellow strugglers Northampton.
