Warrington kicked off their Super League season with a 32-20 win against Hull at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Wolves scored six tries with Chris Bridge grabbing a brace while Chris Hicks, Vinnie Anderson, Matt King and Ben Westwood also crossed the line.
Hull scored tries through Richard Horne and two from Craig Hall, while Danny Tickle kicked four goals.
The home side began slowly but grabbed the lead on 14 minutes when Martin Gleeson's dummy run carved open the Hull defence, allowing Bridge to crash over.
Warrington then increased their lead when Hall's knock-on led to the Wolves making a swift counter-attack ending in Hicks touching down in the corner.
The Orange and Whites took advantage of Bridge losing his footing to score their first try, with Hall jogging over the line on 24 minutes.
Hall crashed over again 13 minutes later to keep the visitors in the match.
But Warrington hit back with tries from Anderson and debutant King for a 20-14 lead at the break.
In a less entertaining second half, the Wolves increased their lead when debutant Michael Monaghan found Westwood who crashed over on 46 minutes.
The home side wrapped up victory six minutes from time after Paul Rauhihi overpowered Hull's defence to set up Bridge to score his second.
Lee Briers then fired a warning to the Wolves' rivals by kicking over his fourth goal of the game.
Two minutes from time Hull grabbed a consolation when Horne crossed the line, but it was not enough to spoil a dream start for Paul Cullen's side.
