The British foursome of Bradley Wiggins, Ed Clancy, Paul Manning and Geraint Thomas have won the gold medal in cycling's team pursuit.
Continuing Team GB's domination in the velodrome, the team eclipsed their own world record set in the qualifiers - beating it by more than two seconds to cross the line ahead of Denmark in 3:53.314 secs.
The gold is Wiggins' second of the Beijing Games following his 4,000m individual pursuit title at the weekend.
The British team, who led from the start after pulling out to a half-second lead after just two laps, almost overtook their challengers in a one-sided contest.
The gold is Britain's 12th of the Beijing Olympics, keeping them above Australia in third in the medal table and ensuring Team GB surpasses its record total haul of golds - achieved at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
