Scotland's Stephen Maguire comfortably beat Anthony Hamilton 10-3 at the World Championships, but was still angry with his performance.
Maguire had a commanding 8-1 lead from the first session and though Hamilton claimed the first two frames of the second session, Maguire went onto win the match.
But the real excitement of the match came in the 12th frame when Maguire came agonisingly close to making a 147 and winning a guaranteed £147,000. The 27-year-old missed the final red and was "gutted" afterwards.
"I think I broke a tile in the toilet. My hand just 'slipped' and I heard a crack and didn't look back," said Maguire. "I was just gutted with myself that I never went full out for position on the last red.
"I was scared if I got into the white too much I don't even get a shot at the red because it only went in the green pocket.
"I just got none of the white and left myself a red I would have potted if it wasn't for a maximum, but I just twitched."
Maguire will face a tough match against rising Australian star Neil Robertson in the next round. Robertson was in impressive form in the previous round when he beat Nigel Bond 10-4.
