Tottenham keep going

Tottenham stayed in pole position for the final Champions League spot with a 1-0 win over in-form Everton.
Robbie Keane lashed the ball in from the penalty spot to keep the pressure on north London rivals Arsenal in the battle for fourth place.
Tottenham started the game well and looked sharper and more inventive than the home side but former Arsenal keeper Richard Wright was doing his best to keep Everton in the game.
He saved well from Robbie Keane and Michael Carrick in the early stages and was able to pluck the ball from the air when Anthony Gardener had a free header at the back post.
Aaron Lennon was causing Everton all sorts of problems down the left flank and his crosses were continuously dangerous.
Tottenham then took the lead when Alan Stubbs dragged down Keane as he burst into the penalty area.
The referee pointed to the spot and the Irishman got up to take the penalty himself and make it 1-0 in the 33rd minute.
Everton looked brighter in the second half but they needed Wright to make two more brilliant stops. First he blocked Jermaine Jenas' effort and then remarkably kept Jermain Defoe's shot out.
