Torrential rains caused flooding in Devon last night which saw motorists needing to be rescued from their vehicles.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the south-west of England, as well parts of Yorkshire and Humber.
Firefighters in Devon last night had to rescue three people from a car trapped in floodwater in Plymouth and another person from a vehicle near Ashburton.
The Environment Agency said there was a total of 11 flood warnings in place, and 71 areas on 'Flood Watch'. Water had reached 1.21 metres in Exton, as flash floods hit last night.
The Met Office said: "A further spell of heavy rain is expected during Sunday. This is likely to give widespread totals of 20-30 mm and locally 50mm on high ground and along southern coastal counties. This will fall on already saturated ground
