England captain Andrew Flintoff has insisted that he is not worried about his team dropping catches in the second Test against Sri Lanka.
The team's fielding ultimately cost them victory in the first Test at Lord's as they dropped nine catches in the tourists' second innings, meaning Sri Lanka could bat out two-and-a-half days and salvage a draw.
However, Flintoff insists that he is not worried about suffering similar troubles at Edgbaston and they haven't been putting in extra practice.
"It has been made a big issue and it's on everyone's lips but we said after the game we weren't going to make a big issue of it," Flintoff said.
"We have been practising catches as we always do and it was just strange last week the way a lot of catches went down."
There have been fears that the game may not start on time because of heavy rain in Birmingham over the past few days.
The weather conditions might mean that England will go with Gloucestershire's Jon Lewis in their side as his swing bowling would be ideally suited for the overcast, damp conditions.
However, Flintoff said that no decision had been made regarding the team and it wouldn't be until the wicket had been inspected tomorrow morning.
"We can't make a decision until seeing the wicket as until the covers come off we can't be too sure about the make-up," Flintoff added.
"We can't do much about aerial conditions and we saw at Lord's that they can change from day to day so the pitch will more probably dictate the make-up of the side more."
If Lewis does come into the team, it will be at the expense of Sajid Mahmood, Liam Plunkett or Monty Panesar.
