A light aircraft has crashed in Hampshire killing two people on board, local police have confirmed.

It is not known how many were travelling in the plane, which came down in a field in Tangley, near Andover earlier this afternoon at around 13:00 BST.

The burning wreckage, which has now been put out by Hampshire fire and rescue, is now being investigated by air crash investigators, the local police force have confirmed.
