Burnley manager Owen Coyle has signed a new two-year contract extension to stay at Turf Moor until at least the summer of 2013.
The Clarets boss has agreed terms on a new deal after leading his side to promotion via the Championship playoffs last season.
The club's operational director Brendan Flood said is he "delighted to secure Owen's commitment to Burnley".
"Owen is a young manager with a great future, who will continue to revive the traditions of Burnley FC to develop young British talent and to play attractive football," Flood explained.
"As this year represents the club's 50th anniversary since we won the first division, we are delighted that Owen will lead the club and its fans through one of the most exciting seasons in our history.
"The community has recognised Owen's qualities and we are sure everyone will welcome this news, so that we can now concentrate on our plans for a very successful season."
Coyle himself has spoken about the challenges he faces in leading the Lancashire outfit into the Premier League for the first time - especially given the financial restraints of what the manager claims is the "smallest budget in the league by far".
"That doesn't faze me," he claimed.
"In the Championship we were at the lower end of the scale, so that won't be a big issue for me.
"I'm prepared to work with that, making sure I get players who are the best value for money and willing to represent this football club with all the heart, endeavour and quality that I ask from my group of players."
Coyle added that he has already put in "a couple of offers" for players that have been turned down and he is currently assessing his options in the transfer market as he looks t strengthen ahead of the start of the season in August.
