Jamie Baker will play the first rubber of Great Britain's Davis Cup tie on Friday against the world number nine David Nalbandian.
The draw for the match has pitted Baker against Nalbandian in the first tie, while Alex Bogdanovich will face up to Agustin Calleri in the second rubber.
When the draw was revealed, Baker's reaction was one of excitement.
The youngster said: "I'm just really looking forward to the opportunity. I hardly ever get the chance to play these sorts of players at my level and when you do get the opportunity you just have to go for it."
Great Britain captain John Lloyd agreed with Baker, saying: "What I'm looking for from these players is a great attitude throughout the match.
"They really have nothing to lose."
The doubles will be played on the Saturday and John Lloyd has selected Jamie Murray and Ross Hutchins to take on the Argentinean team of Jose Acasuso and David Nalbandian.
Hutchins will be making his debut in the Davis Cup and it will also be Jamie Murray's first away match.
Great Britain will be competing without the current number one rated player in the country, Andy Murray, who has withdrawn from the team.
Murray reportedly did not want to risk injury by playing on several different surfaces in a short time.
