Vampire franchise The Twilight Saga was the big winner at the 36th People's Choice awards with four prizes, including Favourite Movie.
The supernatural romance, based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novels, also picked up the Favourite Franchise gong while stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were named Favourite Onscreen Team.
Lautner, who stars as teenage werewolf Jacob in Twilight and its sequel New Moon, also collected the Breakout Movie Actor award.
The Los Angeles ceremony also saw success for other bloodsucker entertainment, with True Blood named Favourite TV Obsession and The Vampire Diaries voted Favourite New TV Drama.
Other televisual winners included American Idol (Favourite Competition show) and Glee (Favourite New TV Comedy) while Steve Carell and Hannigan claimed comedy acting awards.
Queen Latifah hosted the ceremony for CBS, with Sandra Bullock accepting the awards for Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Comedy for The Proposal.
"Thank you to everyone who voted," she told the audience. "You're voting for all the people who make me look good and you're making me look very good!"
Up was voted Favourite Family Movie while Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen made a rare appearance out of character to present Johnny Depp with the Favourite Movie Actor of the Decade trophy.
