An 18-month-old girl who died when her pram was struck by a recycling lorry has been named by police.
Noor Taswar was killed after becoming trapped under the wheels of the 30 tonne lorry yesterday in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
The toddler's pram, which was being pushed by her mother, was struck on Newmarket Road at 15:30 GMT.
Greater Manchester police (GMP) said the girl died at the scene.
Nobody else was injured in the collision, but the lorry's driver was treated for shock at a nearby hospital.
Noor's mother, 24, is being comforted by members of her family, a GMP spokesperson added.
The force is appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
