Manchester City defender Kolo Toure spoke of his frustration after his side conceded a second-half equaliser in their FA Cup fifth round tie against Stoke.
City started well and took a deserved lead after 10 minutes with Shaun Wright Phillips capitalising on Ryan Shawcrosses slip at the back to tap the ball in from close range.
The home side couldn't build on their early lead though and found themselves level when Ricardo Fuller headed in Rory Delap's long throw.
City captain Toure said his team were expecting to face the Stoke midfielders well known throw and admitted his frustration that his team had conceded from the set play.
"I think it was a really physical game," said Toure.
"Delap, with his throw, to concede a goal in that situation is very difficult because we were expecting that and we didn't deal very well with it at the back."
City struggled to create as many chances after Fuller's equaliser and City's goalscorer Wright Phillips admitted it had been a tough game.
"We thought we needed to get in behind them to stretch them and that's what we did," he said.
"We knew it was always going to be a tough game coming up against them."
