Ten-man Nottingham Forest kept their promotion hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Northampton Town in League One at Sixfields Stadium.
The two-time European Cup winners were led to victory by goals from Brett Ormerod on nine minutes and a Nathan Tyson penalty on 63 minutes.
Forest had James Perch sent-off on 21 minutes for violent conduct, while Poul Hubertz netted for the home side.
The win keeps Forest in fourth place, six points off automatic promotion, while Northampton remain in 11th position.
Elsewhere, leaders Swansea City were held to a 1-1 draw by Southend United at Roots Hall.
Jason Scotland put the visitors ahead with a penalty on 24 minutes after Charlie Mulgrew had tripped Thomas Butler.
Mulgrew made amends by setting up the equaliser from a free-kick which was headed in by Hal Robson-Kanu on the stroke of half-time, for his third goal in three games.
Swansea had chances to grab the winner in the second half with Ferrie Bodde rattling the crossbar while Kevin Austin had a shot cleared off the line.
The result sees the Welsh side move ten points clear at the top while the Shrimpers move into fifth spot.
Elsewhere, Yeovil Town beat Doncaster 2-1 thanks to goals from Terry Skiverton and Lloyd Owusu.
Former Chelsea midfielder Skiverton and striker Owusu netted in the first half while Paul Heffernan scored on 73 minutes for Doncaster.
The win for Yeovil moves them up into 16th place while Doncaster remain in second place.
