Manchester United are in the news today as Sir Alex Ferguson prepares to launch bids for Joe Cole and Everton youngsters Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell.
Joe Cole is out of contract in the summer and is strongly tipped to leave on a free after falling out with Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, whilst Gosling and Rodwell have impressed the united manager over the past season culminating with the goal against his team in Everton's 3-1 win last month over United.
Manchester City's Stephen Ireland will also be on the move with Everton or Liverpool the likely suitors.

Everton have conceded defeat in their attempts to keep on loan midfielder Landon Donovan till the end of the season. Manager David Moyes had hoped to extend the loan deal but will now relinquish the player who will return to LA Galaxy.
A spokesperson confirmed: "Landon Donovan has returned to LA Galaxy following his 10-week loan. Despite attempts to extend Donovan's loan period at Everton, LA Galaxy have now recalled him to their squad ahead of the start of the MLS season on March 27."
