Boxing champion Joe Calzaghe has become the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.

The Welshman and his dance partner Kristina Rihanoff ended up in the dreaded dance-off with actress Zoe Lucker and her partner James Jordan.

All four of the show's judges then decided to save Lucker, eliminating Calzaghe from the competition.

Speaking afterwards, Calzaghe was in a philosophical mood, saying: "It's the way it goes. It's been a great experience."

"It's been fantastic."

Ms Rihanoff was full of praise for her celebrity dancing partner, saying: "It's been amazing to teach someone like him and I'm so lucky to have him as my partner."

Eleven couples are now left in the competition.
