Sixteen-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer reached the final of the Barclays ATP World Tour competition today (November 26th), seeing off competition from David Ferrer in two sets.
Federer took the match 7-5, 6-3 and will face either Tomas Berdych or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga tomorrow in his career's 100th tour-level final.
The Swiss player dominated the semi-final, serving up six aces to Ferrer's one and registering no double faults at all, compared to the Spaniard's five.
The win also means Federer will finish no lower than the top three in the South African Airways ATP rankings this season.
Other results from the O2 Arena today include men's doubles pair Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor, who powered through a match against three-time former winners Bob and Mike Bryan to reach the final.
The third seeds beat the Bryans - currently seeded top - 7-6(6), 6-4 and will challenge either Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi or Marcin Matkowski and Mariusz Fyrstenberg for the trophy.
