Andy Murray has targeted revenge against Marin Cilic ahead of their Australian Open semi-final encounter on Thursday.
The Croatian youngster beat Murray in straight sets to end his quest for a second consecutive US Open final last season.
And Murray, who is yet to drop a set in this year's opening grand slam and knocked out defending champion Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals, said he is confident of progressing.
"If I play like I did [against Nadal] then I've got a good chance," he said.
"The nerves will obviously be there but I've got to come through it.
"I lost to [Cilic] in the US Open in straight sets to I've got to go for it and I want to get a bit of revenge."
Murray's last-eight match against Nadal was a blockbuster of a match, with both men playing at breakneck speed, defending well and counter-attacking effectively.
The fifth seed also surprised many onlookers by regularly approaching the net, but Murray believes a change of tactics could be required against the 6ft 6in Croat.
"He's a big guy so I am going to try to keep the ball low and not let him dictate the points," said the Briton, who will be playing in his first-ever semi-final in Melbourne.
"It'll be a tough match but I'm playing well and I'm ready."
