Justine Henin is one victory away from a remarkable return to the tennis grand slam circuit after sealing a place in the Australian Open final against top seed Serena Williams.
The Belgian former world number one is playing in her first major tournament since coming out of retirement last year, and completed an amazing run to the showpiece match in Melbourne by thrashing unseeded Chinese Zheng Jie 6-1 6-0 in her semi-final.
Earlier, defending champion Williams had ousted China's other remaining player, 16th seed Li Na, in back-to-back tiebreaks, 7-6 7-6.
The 2010 Australian Open is only Henin's second tournament since returning to the WTA Tour.
She is looking to emulate Belgian countrywoman Kim Clijsters, who came out of retirement last year and won her the first grand slam she played - the 2009 US Open.
However, Williams is on good form in Melbourne and will be a major obstacle after another dominating display against Li.
