Andy Murray reached the last 16 of the Australian Open with a comfortable victory over Frenchman Michael Llodra.
The world number four produced an accomplished display to defeat his opponent 6-4, 6-2, 6-0 at Melbourne Park, with Llodra's tactic of frequently attacking the net failing to break his momentum.
Murray, who is aiming to reach the Australian Open final for the third straight year, said afterwards that he enjoyed his encounter with the world number 46.
"Every point seemed to be a fun point. He was coming up with some unbelievable gets on the volleys and I was managing to dig up a lot at the net," he told reporters.
Murray hit an impressive 48 winners and broke Llodra's serve six times during the match, which lasted for just under one hour and 50 minutes.
The Scot's opponent in the fourth round will be unseeded Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan, who beat 14th seed Gael Monfils in a gruelling five-set clash.
