Bangladesh overcame Zimbabwe in the battle of the minnows after winning by 101 runs in Jaipur.

With both sides unable to qualify for the Champions Trophy, Habibul Bashar's side salvaged some pride from their campaign thanks to an unbeaten century from opener Shariah Nafees.

Nafees punished Zimbabwe's decision to field first after winning the toss, scoring 123 runs which included 17 boundaries.

The left-handed opener was dropped by Elton Chigumbura on nought and went on to make his second ODI ton.

Skipper Bashar made 30 while rising star Saqibul Hasan hit 36 as the Tigers finished on 231 for six in their fifty overs with Zimbabwe skipper Prosper Utseya conceding 50 runs from his nine overs.

In reply, Zimbabwe were skittled out for 130 with only four players making it to double figures.

Opener Brendan Taylor made a hard-fought 52 but they were undone by the impressive Hasan who took 3-18 from his ten overs.

Spin duo Abdur Razzak and Mohammed Rafique took two wickets apiece to clinch victory for Dav Whatmore's side.

The shambolic performance means Zimbabwe have failed to reach 150 in their three Champions Trophy qualifiers.

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will be the venue for England's clash with hosts India on Sunday.

West Indies and Sri Lanka, who face each other on Saturday in Mumbai, have booked their place in the group phase of the tournament.
