Fresh from their mauling at Anfield on the weekend Manchester United are preparing a double swoop for Spanish stars David Villa and David Silva.
With the transfer funds from the Ronaldo sale burning a hole in Sir Alex Ferguson's pocket the wheels have been set in motion for the Champions to complete a dramatic double swoop.
A bid of around £40m may be enough to secure the pair as their club Valencia are struggling with their finances.
Leicester are beginning to lose patience with Edgar Davids and as a result have given the former Dutch international 24 hours to decide on a move to the Championship side.
In form side QPR are targeting prolific Gillingham forward Simeon Jackson to help bolster their promotion push. They plan to bid around £2m for the striker.
Juventus will push to sign Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta for £6m in the new year. City will request a bid of £6m.
Meanwhile Roy Keane is planning to call in the cavalry in the form of former England manager Peter Taylor. Keane wants Taylor for his expertise and the possible assistant manager role.
