Chelsea are set for a £100 million spending spree next week as they try to combat the spending power of Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich wants to give new boss Carlo Ancelotti some new players before he starts work and will spend £50 million to bring Alexandre Pato from AC Milan.
Chelsea are also prepared to pay £50 million for Bayern Munich's in-demand winger Franck Ribery.
The Blues are also tracking Russian Yuri Zhirkov, Italian Andrea Pirlo and Manchester City's 19-year-old Daniel Sturridge.
