While all the talk around Manchester City's transfer dealings surrounds a certain young man named Kaka, the club are also in the market for others.
Bundesliga side Hamburg have confirmed they have received an approach from Mark Hughes' side for Dutch international holding midfielder Nigel de Jong.
City are also still known to be keen on West Ham striker Craig Bellamy, but it seems the Welshman would rather stay in London and go to Tottenham Hotspur after handing in a written transfer request.
However, Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola has insisted he wants to keep the hitman and will be attempting to persuade him to withdraw his submission.
Elsewhere, Spurs are also known to be on the trail of another forward.
But rather than one Inter striker, it is another after the north Londoners confirmed they are not in the market for Adriano and would rather have his current team-mate and former Chelsea target man Hernan Crespo.
Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas, who is known to be coveted by Inter boss Jose Mourinho, could be used as a makeweight in any negotiations.
