A combination of bad defending and poor refereeing decisions cost Arsenal defeat at Swansea, according to their manager.
Speaking after the 3-2 defeat yesterday (January 15th), Arsene Wenger bemoaned Michael Oliver's decision to award the home side a spot-kick after Nathan Dyer was apparently felled by Aaron Ramsey.
Arsenal hit back with Theo Walcott's equaliser, but were undone by a Danny Graham goal just seconds later.
Speaking to BBC Sport, the Frenchman said: "I still don't understand where the referee found the penalty, then we defensively made some mistakes that we should not make."
Wenger was frustrated with the decision, but also with his side's capitulation after getting themselves back in to the match.
He also praised Swansea's performance, describing them as a "good team", but found defeat difficult to explain.
Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League, having picked up 36 points from their first 21 outings this season.
