Fulham beat Juventus 4-1 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate to advance to the quarter-finals of the Europa League in one of the most famous victories ever witnessed at Craven Cottage.
Roy Hodgson's men did so after going behind to a second-minute goal from David Trezeguet, the French player firing the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Bobby Zamora put Fulham on level terms in the ninth minute after being set up by Paul Konchesky.
The home side were given a further boost when Fabio Cannavaro was sent off after he fouled Zoltan Gera.
It was Gera who put Fulham in front in the 39th minute after good work from Simon Davies.
Gera scored again from the penalty spot four minutes into the second half after Diego handled the ball.
Clint Dempsey scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute with a shot from outside the penalty area to send Craven Cottage wild.
A demoralised Juventus finished with nine men after Jonathan Zebina was sent off.
