A teenage boy will appear in court charged with murdering 14-year-old David Idowu
A teenage boy has pleaded not guilty to murdering 14-year-old David Idowu at the Old Bailey today.
David, of Southwark, died of multiple stab wounds at the Royal London hospital three weeks after being attacked in Great Dover Street, south London, during the evening rush hour on June 17th.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at the plea and case management hearing on Monday.
The boy, from Catford, south-east London, is now set to go on trial in November.
David was the 19th teenager to be murdered in London this year; the figure has now reached 25.
