South Africa president Jacob Zuma arrives in UK for 3-day visit

South Africa president Jacob Zuma has arrived in the UK at that start of a three-day visit which will see him meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace and tour the London Olympic site.
A spokesman for the South Africa High Commission confirmed to inthenews.co.uk Mr Zuma had arrived earlier on Tuesday but said he will not begin official engagements until tomorrow.
The South African president will head to the Royal residence in London to meet the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on Wednesday.
Gordon Brown will also miss prime minister's questions at midday tomorrow to attend the welcome, Downing Street confirmed to inthenews.co.uk
Mr Brown is set to hold one-on-one talks with the South African president at Downing Street on Thursday with Zimbabwe and the upcoming football World Cup expected to be among the topics discussed.
During his visit Mr Zuma is also expected to embark on a tour of the London 2012 Olympic site in the east of the capital as well as attending a banquet at the Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor of London.
