Police are questioning six people they have arrested on suspicion of murdering a 20-year-old man in Hampshire.
Dwayne Ayres was named by Hampshire police this evening as the man who died in Frimley Park hospital in Surrey in the early hours of this morning.
He had been fatally injured in an incident which occurred shortly after 02:00 BST.
The six suspects, together with three others who have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, were arrested in Holt Way, Hook, Hampshire.
Mr Ayres leaves a partner and an 18-month-old child.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "Officers conducted extensive enquiries in the Holt Way area today and spoken with members of the local community."
A post-mortem is currently underway at Royal Hampshire county hospital in Winchester. Results are expected to be released tomorrow.
