Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies has become the latest celebrity contestant to be voted off the latest series of ITV1 talent contest Dancing On Ice.
The 47-year-old left the programme after a climactic skate-off, with the judging panel unanimously choosing to save Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.
Despite being voted off Dancing On Ice, Davies insisted she had no plans to remove her skates in the near future.
"Thank you very much for the experience - I will not be hanging up my skates," she said. "I shall carry on going down to the Swindon ice rink and doing my skating."
Davies had battled to save her position on the show in two previous skate-offs and also saw her chances hampered by a series of problems with her lower back, shoulders and knees.
But the much-criticised contestant left the series proudly, saying: "I have had such a great time on the programme."
Earlier in the evening Emmerdale actress Hayley Tammadon had topped the scoreboard for the second week, claiming the highest score of the series.
Judge Jason Gardiner admitted he tended to award Tammadon a harsh mark, due to her clear skating talent.
"I do rate you but I do score you harder and tougher because I know we can get more out of you," he explained.
He added the show was "not a one-horse race", however, saying: "We have probably three very good contenders."
