Keith Senior scored two tries for Leeds on his 300th appearance for the club as they brushed aside Hull 46-16 in Super League.
Poor defending from Hull gifted the Rhinos their first try. Lee Smith got the ball out on the right-wing and had three Hull players in front of him, but they all failed to get a hold of him and the Leeds winger waltzed over for the try.
Hull were only behind for five minutes when a high-kick from skipper Lee Radford was not dealt with by Leeds pair Ryan Hall and Keith Senior and Richard Whiting grabbed hold of the ball to score a try in his fourth successive game. Danny Tickle landed a superb kick to give Hull a 6-4 lead.
A brilliant break from Scott Donald resulted in Leeds getting a perfect attacking position five metres from the Hull try-line. The Rhinos worked the ball to the left-wing and a flat pass from Danny McGuire let Senior grab his first try. Kevin Sinfield added the extras.
Leeds took a 10 point lead five minutes before the break and once again it came through poor Hull defending. Sinfield kicked the ball through to the try area and Brent Webb brushed aside a poor attempt at a barge from Chris Thorman to score the try. The conversion from Sinfield made the score 16-6.
Hull though hit back a couple of minutes later as this time they scored with a kick through. Richard Horne put the ball in the try area and Kirk Yeaman dived in to touch the ball down.
Thorman was at fault for an earlier Leeds try and was to blame once again as the Rhinos crossed the try-line second before half-time. Leeds attacked down the right-wing and Thorman made a flimsy effort to tackle Carl Ablett who just handed off the Hull full-back for the try. Sinfield added the extras for Leeds.
It was a dominant display from the Rhinos in the second-half as they ran in four more tries through Ryan Hall, Sinfield and both Senior and Smith grabbed their second tries of the match, while Radford scored a consolation for Hull.
