Manchester United striker Louis Saha has warned his team-mates that Chelsea will still provide a stiff challenge for the title despite the Red Devils' four point advantage.
The Frenchman said that his team must concentrate on picking up results and maintain their focus all the way until the title is secured.
He said: "It is nice to know Chelsea are not playing well and are finding it hard to get results but they are still up there challenging. The best thing for us to do is ignore them and concentrate on our own game.
"It is good to be up front but we are aware it is going to be difficult to stay there. But we have to stay focussed and carry on the way we have been, and make sure we keep picking up the points."
He said that everyone in the United camp was enjoying the Christmas period and that confidence was high after scoring six goals in two games and stretching their lead at the top of the table.
However, with the season halfway through Saha dismissed any thoughts that the job is already done.
"The target is easy to see now, but we have to make sure we reach it. We don't have enough points to say the job is done yet," he added.
Saha is the team's top scorer this season with 12 goals in all competitions and he will be looking to add to that tally when United take on Reading on Saturday.
