Two members of Saddam Hussein's family and his former Ba'ath party deputy have been named on a most wanted list by the Iraqi government.
The former dictator's eldest daughter Raghdad, first wife Sajida and Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri were all declared fugitives by the country's security secretary, Mowaffaq al-Rubaie, at a news conference today.
The US army has offered a reward of $10 million for the capture of al-Douri alone, while the two women are both believed to be living in Jordan after receiving asylum.
They are among a list of 41 wanted individuals, which also includes the new leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, named as the successor to Musab al-Zarqawi, who was killed in an US air strike last month.
"We are releasing this list so that our people can know their enemies. These people are responsible for most of the bombings and indiscriminate killings aimed at starting a sectarian war between Sunnis and Shias," said the security secretary.
Mr al-Rubaie also revealed that the body of al-Zarqawi had been buried in a "marked but secret place", following calls from Osama Bin Laden and the terrorist's family to return his remains to his native Jordan.
Yesterday dozens of civilians and police were left dead when a car bomb exploded in a Shia Muslim area of Baghdad, the bloodiest attack since the new Iraqi government was voted in six weeks ago.
