Manchester United and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in his first game back in England since his controversial antics against the national side in the World Cup.
Playing in a friendly against Conference outfit Oxford United, the 21-year-old showed little sign of being affected by the furore sparked by his part in club colleague Wayne Rooney's sending-off when their countries met in Germany.
As United eased to a 4-1 victory, the skilful youngster ignored the constant jeers of the Kassam Stadium regulars to grab a brace.
Even before starting his own goal-scoring, he had laid on a chance that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer gleefully converted.
The Norwegian marksman has been one of the few highlights in a difficult pre-season for Sir Alex Ferguson's side and he was a constant menace to the Oxford defenders as he regains form and fitness ahead of the Premiership campaign.
After the opener, Ronaldo finished well after neat build-up play from Frenchman Louis Saha to register the second and doubled his own tally early in the second half with a glorious curled effort from the edge of the box.
Sandwiched in between the former Sporting Lisbon man's strikes came a rare strike from home-grown youngster Darren Fletcher.
