Franck Ribery's agent has denied that Arsenal have made a £10 million bid for the Marseille player, who starred for France at the World Cup.
The promising winger looks like leaving the French south-coast club this summer with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Lyon leading the chase.
Media reports suggested that the Gunners made an official approach this week but that Madrid had also put in an offer of £17 million.
Ribery's agent Bruno Heiderscheid says that despite the talk no official bids have been received as yet. He confirms that he will hold talks with Marseille over his player's future in the coming days.
The 23-year-old winger was quoted suggesting he would favour a move to the Premiership, ideally to work for a French manager.
But Heiderscheid told L'Equipe: "I've not met with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, in Paris or elsewhere, and have not received any offers for Franck.
"Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also rumoured to be interested but I have never received any concrete offer."
Lyon were originally favourites to land the player, but their interest appears to have cooled as the asking price has escalated.
