Leeds Rhinos full-back Brent Webb has been banned for four matches after commiting two high tackles in the same games against Harlequins at the weekend.
The New Zealand back had a busy trip to the Stoop as he crossed the line twice in his side's 54-20 win, but was also twice put on report and sent to the sin-bin.
The Rugby Football League have found the 26-year-old guilty on both incidents and handed out a four-match ban that puts pay to his hopes of being selected for the Super League matches against Salford , Hull KR, Bradford and Hull.
Tony Smith's side are in hot pursuit of leaders St Helens with just two points separating them from top spot and the future Great Britain coach may come to rue his player's indiscipline as he vies for play-off superiority.
Webb, who will be available for his team's final league match against Wakefield, was also hit with a £600 fine for his actions.
Another player in trouble with the game's authorities is Bradford prop Joe Vagana.
The Bulls star was handed a two-match ban and a £300 bill after he charged Wakefield's Luke George with a high elbow at the Grattan Stadium.
