Salford caused the biggest upset of the Super League season so far as they shocked champions Leeds Rhinos 30-20 at Headingley.
John Wilshere gave Salford an early lead as he did well to read a kick through from Jeremy Smith to score the try. The Reds extended their lead when wing Mark Henry dived into the corner and Wilshere converted the try to give his side a 10-0 lead.
Leeds fought back and Jamie Jones-Buchanan collected a pass from Kevin Sinfield to cross the try-line. Sinfield converted the try to bring his side back to within four points.
But Salford regained their 10-point lead before the break. Teenage half-back Richie Myler spotted a gap in the Leeds defence and broke from his own half for the try, which Wilshere converted.
Salford extended their lead when Robbie Paul was first to react to a kick through by Myler and scored the try.
A Leeds comeback was well and truly on when Ryan Hall, Keith Senior and Jamie Peacock scored second-half tries. But Salford made sure of a famous win when Jordan Turner sprinted clear to score a late try.
Elsewhere, there were no such hiccups for St Helens as they ran in nine tries to defeat Hull FC 44-22 at Knowsley Road.
Tony Puletua, Lee Gilmour, Jon Wilkin, Paul Wellens, Leon Pryce, Chris Dean, Ade Gardner and Kyle Eastmond (2) were the try scorers for Saints.
Huddersfield scored 30 unanswered points as they came from 8-0 down to record a 30-8 win over Hull KR.
Tries from Kris Welham and Liam Colbon had given Hull an early lead. But Huddersfield hit back with tries from Michael Lawrence (2), David Hodgson, Shaun Lunt and Stephen Wild.
Harlequins moved into the top six of Super League with a comfortable 40-18 win over the Celtic Crusaders. Quins scored seven tries with Danny Orr and Luke Dorn grabbing a brace each.
Castleford were 28-6 victors away at the Warrington Wolves. They ran in five tries with Ranji Chase scoring twice.
In the final game of the day, Wakefield withstood a late fight-back from the Bradford Bulls to claim an impressive 24-22 win.
