Arsenal's want-away striker Jose Antonio Reyes has denied that his return to the Primera Liga has been finalised.
It is widely expected that, after telling the Gunners that he is determined to return to his homeland of Spain, the diminutive forward will convert last season's loan at Real Madrid into a permanent switch.
But claims that a fee of £6.8 million have been agreed between Bernanbeu officials and the north London outfit are premature according to the 23-year-old.
"No agreement has been reached. But I do expect the situation to be solved as soon as possible," he said.
"But I want to win everything that there is and if that can happen at Real Madrid, then that would be perfect."
Reyes signed for Arsenal from Sevilla for £17 million as a 20-year-old in January 2004 and, despite occasionally threatening to deliver on some of his huge potential, never truly settled in England.
Arsene Wenger is now prepared to cut his losses and sell to raise funds for a replacement, while new Bernabeu boss Bernd Schusyer might well decide to keep the player who scored two vital goals on the final day of the season against Mallorca to seal the club's domestic title success.
