Jillian Foster (far right) was identified as having died of a gunshot wound to the head
One of the two bodies discovered in the burnt out Shropshire house is that of missing wife Jillian Foster, who died of a gunshot wound to the head, police have confirmed.
A murder investigation has been opened after Mrs Foster's body was discovered among the debris of the house on Saturday following a detailed police search.
It is thought a second body uncovered is that of an as-yet-unidentified male adult.
Mrs Foster was identified by dental records, West Mercia Supt Gary Higgins said.
She was one of a family of three that went missing on Tuesday following a suspected arson attack on their Osbaston House property, near Maesbrook.
Christopher Foster, 50, and the couple's daughter Kirsty, 15, remain unaccounted for.
A rifle that was registered to Mr Foster was recovered near the two bodies, along with the body of a fourth dog which had been shot.
Three horses and three dogs found in outhouses near the main property were also revealed to have died from gunshot wounds before the fire broke out, post-mortems confirmed.
It remains unclear whether the rifle was the murder weapon.
