Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp was in buoyant mood following his side's 3-0 win away to Wigan, insisting that his team are no soft touches.
Redknapp was speaking after watching a controversial Jermain Defoe goal and two late strikes by substitute Roman Pavlyuchenko gave his side all three points.
The Spurs boss was unhappy with suggestions that his side are weak away from home and though that the win dispelled all notions of a soft underbelly within the team.
He said: "We've been playing well for a while the only stutter being the loss to wolves. I said to the lads the country are going to be looking at us asking are we are a soft touch but we have only had two defeats in the last 15 games we are in terrific form."
When asked about the opening goal, where Defoe appeared offside, and if he had any sympathy for Wigan, Redknapp replied in a dismissive manner.
"I won't lose any sleep tonight. It doesn't bother me at all I haven't seen the replay but sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't."
Redknapp also reserved praise for Pavlyuchenko who has endured a tough time at Spurs over the past two seasons.
"The fans love him," he said. "He has ability and when he wants to play and work he is a great player he has technique and is a top class player."
