Harry Redknapp has described the Panorama episode claiming to lift the lid on football's bung culture as "farcical".
The Portsmouth boss hit out after he was featured in Football's Dirty Secrets, which was aired this week on BBC1.
Redknapp was filmed talking to agent Peter Harrison about the possibility of signing Blackburn defender Andy Todd.
"Anyone who saw the programme knew it was farcical," he told the BBC earlier today. "I've done nothing wrong."
The 59-year-old had said before the programme went out that he would consider taking legal action against the corporation if he was accused of taking illegal payments from agents.
His former assistant, Kevin Bond, will sue the BBC after he was shown discussing these payments and the possibility of talking to Redknapp about them.
Tuesday's Panorama episode was the result of a six-month investigation in which an undercover reporter approached agents claiming to represent a new agency that wanted to be put in contact with managers willing to take bungs.
The Football Association has said it will launch a rigorous investigation into all the allegations and has asked the BBC for more evidence.
Two agents featured in the programme named Bolton boss Sam Allardyce as one of between six and eight Premiership bosses happy to accept illegal payments.
