Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that confidence is high within his squad after his remarkable reign continued with a 4-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Uefa Cup last night.
Darren Bent fired in a hat-trick during the victory at White Hart Lane with midfielder Tom Huddlestone also on the score-sheet.
Speaking after the game, Redknapp said he was happy with the way things had been going since he took over.
"It was a good night for us and we played some good stuff. Confidence is high after the way things have gone in the last ten days," he said.
"Since I arrived we have shown we have got great quality and can play. We passed the ball well, were comfortable in possession and looked solid."
The former Portsmouth boss was also full of praise for Bent, who has now scored nine goals this season after receiving a fair amount of criticism since his move from Charlton.
"He's done well. This is the first time I've worked with him, he has a good attitude and works hard at his game," Redknapp claimed.
"It's a terrific return, getting nine goals, and hopefully he can keep going. I think we have three strikers who can do the job. There's competition for places up front. Darren and Roman Pavlyuchenko are both scoring goals and Fraizer Campbell showed terrific enthusiasm when he came on."
Redknapp's side will next play Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
