McLaren-Mercedes' Kimi Raikkonen has once again denied rumours that he has agreed to sign for Ferrari.
Speculation has repeatedly linked the Finnish driver with a move away from Ron Dennis' team, with much of it suggesting he is being lined up to replace seven-time drivers' champion Michael Schumacher.
Now reports in Germany have claimed that Raikkonen has agreed a £86m five-year contract with Ferrari and will drive alongside Schumacher until 2008, when the German will retire.
But Raikkonen his refuted the claims, saying: "I have not signed a new contract with anybody. This Ferrari thing is written again and again, but there is nothing new."
Raikkonen's future has been in doubt ever since current world champion Fernando Alonso agreed to join McLaren next season from Renault.
However, McLaren have repeatedly insisted that they want Raikkonen to stay and partner the Spaniard and this has been reiterated again.
"We have made no particular secret of the fact that we want Kimi to stay with us," McLaren's managing director Martin Whitmarsh told Autosport magazine.
"We have got one champion in the car next year and it would be nice to have a second with Kimi taking the title and being in the car alongside Fernando."
Raikkonen was in impressive forming the opening grand prix of the season in Bahrain, fighting his way from the back of the grid to finish third.
