Conservative leader David Cameron has said "sorry" for breaking red lights and cycling the wrong way up a one way street.
The Daily Mirror followed the politician as he cycled to work from his home in Notting Hill.
Mr Cameron said: "I know it is important to obey traffic laws - but I have obviously made mistakes on this occasion and I am sorry."
The newspaper caught Mr Cameron cycling the wrong way up a one-way street in Dawson Place, crossing the white line at a red light and driving the wrong way around a bollard in the Mall.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents said it set a bad example.
Since becoming the opposition leader two years ago, Mr Cameron has tried to emphasise his party's and his own green credentials. He cycles to work most Wednesdays.
But just months after becoming Conservative leader, it was revealed he had cycled in followed by a chauffeur-driven car, which was carrying his briefcase, shoes and documents.
