Police divers have searched a lake in west London for a car they believe may have been used to carry the body of teenager Milly Dowler after she was murdered in 2002.
Divers from the Metropolitan police worked with officers from Surrey police in the search of Bedfont Lake, near Heathrow airport, on Tuesday.
The search has now been called off after none of the six vehicles discovered were the one police were looking for.
Police have repeatedly appealed for information to help their search for a red Daewoo Nexia that they believe may be linked to the case.
The car was captured on CCTV moments after Milly vanished.
The 13-year-old disappeared in 2002 on her way home from school in Surrey. Her body was eventually discovered six months later.
