Two-time convicted killer Peter Tobin was today found guilty of murdering Essex teenager Dinah McNicol 18 years ago.
Dinah, from Tillingham, Essex, was 18 when she was abducted and murdered on her way back from a music festival in Hampshire in August 1991.
Today a jury at Chelmsford crown court took less than 20 minutes to convict Tobin, 65, of her murder after he offered no evidence in his defence.
Jurors had already been told that Tobin had a previous conviction for murdering Vicky Hamilton, the 15-year-old from Bathgate, West Lothian, who was abducted and murdered in February 1991.
It can now also be revealed that Tobin is already serving a life sentence for the murder of a third woman, 23-year-old Polish student Angelika Kluk, in 2006.
