Despite his recent divorce, singer Peter Andre has been voted the "best dad" in Britain in a new nationwide survey.
In a poll to mark the launch of the new US sitcom Modern Family, Sky1 asked 3,000 Britons for their opinions on the best and worst family units in the UK, with Mysterious Girl star Andre named the best role model as a father.
The Australian, who was divorced from Katie Price earlier this year, received 29.1 per cent of votes to top the survey, fighting off competition from David Beckham (20.9 per cent) and Brad Pitt (16.2 per cent).
The survey, however, makes less pleasant reading for Andre's ex-wife, with Price scoring one of the lowest votes in the "best mum" category.
The model, better known as Jordan, scored just two per cent of the vote, alongside disgraced former Atomic Kitten member Kerry Katona and supermodel Kate Moss.
Actress Kate Winslet and TV presenter Davina McCall led the poll for best role model as a mother with 38 per cent and 33 per cent of the votes respectively.
The survey also saw the Beckhams pipping TV's The Simpsons to the title of the best best representation of today's modern family.
Modern Family - starting Thursday October 15th at 20:00 on Sky1and Sky1 HD - stars Sofia Vergara and Ed O'Neill, and celebrates diversity with an eclectic mix of characters including the 2.4 children family unit, a multi-cultural family, and a gay couple who have recently adopted a child from Vietnam.
